बहुत दिन हुए वो तूफ़ान नही आया,
उस हसीं दोस्त का कोई पैगाम नही आया,
सोचा में ही कलाम लिख देता हूँ,
उसे अपना हाल- ए- दिल तमाम लिख देता हूँ,
ज़माना हुआ मुस्कुराए हुए,
आपका हाल सुने… अपना हाल सुनाए हुए,
आज आपकी याद आई तो सोचा आवाज़ दे दूं,
अपने दोस्त की सलामती की कुछ ख़बर तो ले लूं
