Album GV v1.7
Now that you have all these digital pictures on your harddisks and CDRoms, maybe you would like to have a way to show them to friends and family like you used to show scrapbooks or photo albums: In meaningful collections, page after page on a nice background with photo descriptions, so the pictures can actually tell a story. Say, you’d also like to share some of those albums over the internet or make album-CDs to give to your friends.
The program Album GV tries to help you achieve this involving a minimal amount of hassle, but with a pleasant looking result. You just pick the pictures from an explorer type window, sort them on a light table, add descriptions, title, customize fonts and colors, and you are ready to show the collection.
Once an album has been created, wizards can be brought up which help you to turn it into a web-album or an album-CD in a few easy steps. It’s also easy to make CDs with several albums, when autoplayed, the user will see a main menu with a list of all albums to choose from for easy viewing.
